NBS Ltd (formally Northern Broaching Services Ltd) was founded in 1991. Over the years NBS Ltd has built up a reputation, within the engineering industry, for quality, unrivalled service, and workmanship.
Gear cutting
With our 4 gear hobbers we can cut spur or helical gears up to 45 degrees Helix angle, along with 4 gear shapers we can shape both internal and external gears.
Precision engineering
With our highly skilled workforce and wide range of machinery we are able to manufacture a wide range of components, ranging from components incorporating very small keyways through to gearboxes and traction units.
Broaching
With our vast range of broaching tools / fixtures, together with five broaching machines, we can undertake any internal broaching operation (internal or surface). NBS is also one of a small number of companies who broach materials other then steel.
Machine capacity
We have a very wide range of machine capacities ensuring the ability to undertake any broaching, cnc turning, gear cutting and milling requirements.
